1.2 | Containerization - Working Space for Containerized Control Plane and related topics | Readout provided by Pete Birley as to the general desire of this effort to use LCOO and the development proposal process to help facilitate pushing health and other related concepts to the project teams. 2.2 | From FEMDC (Fog Edge Massively Distributed Computing) WG; Request review of Fog Edge Use Case: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1sBczuC2Wu1d_misBmPahLPdvyhOI4QuVy129EHunuUM/edit?usp=sharing | Encourage any members with interest to push their organizations needs for Fog Edge to participate now on the Google doc and support this WG. | |
2.3 | From Operators Telco/NFV Workign Group. The proposal (1 option) has come up to merge with LCOO. See their wiki page here:https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Ops-telecom-nfv | Discussion was largely between Jamey and Shintaro on the topic of how an Operators WG was different in general principle than the LCOO which to date has been focusedmore on leading upstream efforts and bringing in development contributing staff. Jamey indicated though that AT&T is also working to better direct Operations staff into the uptream so good timing for AT&T. Shintaro said the NTT, especially mobility operations and his own team could provide feedback as well and perhaps would be the constant collaborators the Operators Telco NFG WG has not yet gotten.
