Update and prioritize topics for upcoming meetings: Proposed new meeting protocol (draft) - Hold monthly topic based meetings in which member companies all come prepared to share information (initatives, challenges, priorities, successes, etc) in turns and then allow for general discussion
- On alternate weeks the lcoo coordinators (us) meet to plan the schedule and agenda for each meeting
- Publish topics far enough in advance to allow members to draw in the key people for that subject to present & discuss
- During the meeting/Purpose: Watch for synergies and where they emerge, help to coordinate any desired follow-up. Any follow-up should emerge organically among the participants out of an opportunity for mutual benefit. There would not be an expectation of follow-up/collaboration. Possible outcomes include formation of SIG's, new projects, etc. (or nothing).
Sydney Working Group Sessions: - From each Topical meeting we would capture, share and maintain key artifacts, contacts and learnings by topic in the wiki. For example, maintain copies of presentations, add participants to an index of key contacts, etc.).
Some related subjects: - Length of meetings, logistics (ex.Skype vs. WebEx vs. Zoom?)
- A standard Agenda structure/timing
- Marketing of the Topical sessions?
- Should this be a means to do new member recruiting? Who to target? If so, how?
- Do we need to revise our Charter? Wiki page? If so how?
- How do we overall reinvent ourselves into an LCOO 2.0? Use Sydney to promote?
- How do we relate to SIGs?
